Manic Monday

Ughh today has been one of those days ..Im going on four hours of sleep and a prayer lol.  Dominic has been tqaking swimming lessons for a week and they decided to advance him to the next class today we are so proud.  Nate who is 3 going on 16 is riding a two wheeler without training wheels.  Its so cute I was shocked at how determined he was to pick it up.  One day and hes riding like hes been doing it all his life.  We have a meeting the 15th to determine whether Jimmy needs and IEP or not.  I will definitely be glad to have that done with and in place.  Turns out his left eye is wandering so I have to get him into the eye doctor asap.  His vision is worse in that eye so hoping glasses will be a quick fix.  Gotta start getting me and the kids back into school mode.  AKA super busy mommy mode.  I am excited to go back and hopefully graduate with my PN in December then crossing fingers one more year and I will be an RN.  Its definitely been a long road so I am happy to be at the part where I can start reaping some rewards.  I have med surge 1 and 2 this semester so I know its going to be challenging to say the least.  Well thats my quick update hope all is well and that everyones monday is a little less hectic than mine...

It been a looonnnggg time

Wow so I signed on here to catch up on some of the mommies from my old pregnancy board and figured I would update our blog.  Dominic is now ten years old he will be going into the fifth grade this year.  He is really awesome at basketball and excelling in school.  Connor is 7 and he will be in second grade this year.  Into trouble always but my loving little monkey at heart.  Jimmy aka James is five and will be starting kindergarten this year.  He just had a laguage evaluations and passed with flying colors we have one more hurdle to jump over but we will get through it.  Nate is three and a complete doll.  Miserable threes but yet always busy doing and helping he really does fit his spot as the baby of the family. I just finished my first semester of nursing clinicals in May had a bit of a set back but hopefully three semesters to go till I have my RN associates.  I really do love nursing.  I thought I wanted to do labor and dleivery but I was really intrigued by mental health nursing so we shall see.  Next semester starts September 27th and I am definitely ready to jump in again.  Vinny and I seperated last year :( but he is doing well in work and seems happy.  We plan on living together for awhile for financial reasons.  Vin lost his brother in November and oddly enough I think about him daily.  We didnt get along but I really wish he was still here.  Vin misses him and I know his family does also.  They are going to be walking for his cause in August but I dont want to put that information out there cause its not mine to gove.  However I think its great that him and his sister are doing it.  I think with the divorce coming up soon it will be good to keep this updated and I can have Vin do it for my family also.  I just want the boys to know they are loved and do the best for them.  Hope this post finds everyone else well....

long time

It sbeen a really long time since i posted. Dominic is 8 now Connor6 Jimmy4 and Nate is 2. They are all growing so fast. I have been in school for a year and I am slated to start clinicals in August. Jimmy starts preschool this year and Nat ewill be in daycare fo rthe first time ever. He is so attatched I know he will have a hard time. Vins doing well at HH Gregg and we are growing as a family. Ill try to write mor but I wanted to give a short update...

Its been awhile!!

So we have had way too much snow for my liking. 42 inches in the last week. The kids had a great time playing outside and sledding. Mommy even went sledding too. It was probably amusing to watch. We are going to actually go out and do something as a family tomorrow. I am definitley looking forward to it. I am back in school but the snow cancelled a week. Not looking forward to the fallout and extra class loads. Dominic has been out of school so I hope it doesnt add to much into his summer vacation. Sarah is getting married June 12 th so that would mess with our plans. Well kids need a nap Ill update later!!

Thanksgiving

So we went to my mom-moms for Thanksgiving. The kids had a blast playing with their cousin Morgan. My oldest three were picky eaters like usual so I decided to give Nate whatever we had to see what he would eat. Well he ate turkey, borccli stuffing casserole, regular stuffing, cooked mushrooms, macaroni, mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes followed by three pieces of pumpkin pie!! Seriously it was crazy!! He is going to be my little butterball. He is talking on the phone with my dad and laughing hysterically. He accidently hung up on him a few minutes ago and cried till I called him back. Well hopefully getting some cleaning done today!! I'll write more later...

So I thought I would add some new pics. I have our first parent teacher conference of the school year tonight. Vin got roped into work and cantgetoff even though he had it scheduled for 3 weeks atleast..gotta love retail. I am planning on going backto school in January to be and RN and then Vinny wants to go back to finish te requirements for teaching!!..I am floored. I put the idea in his head and I always thought I would be he teacher but I think he will d really well and excel. He wants to teach middle school. Our life is really changing and I am quite excited about it. Withme as an RN and him as a teacher the kds will have him in the summer and me four days a week if I work at the hospital. And maybe for once we wouldnthave to struggle. They are always looking fr teachers and nurses and we can do it anywhere life takes us. For Vin tohave summers off with the kids and all day trips to the beach we could take...it wouldbe truly amazing. It wont be easy to get there but I want to get there BAD..lol!! Well thats all for my Thursday rant Christmas is around te corner so hopefully I will get some good chrstmas photos of all the boys FINALLY!!!

Tuesday Tantrums

Well i feel like today was one big tantrum. I swear when you have four boys someone is always crying or screaming. I dont know what I woulddo if it was quiet for more than 5 minutes at a time while my kids were awake..oh yeah I do that means they are doing something that will probably make me scream. Guess you just have to sit back and laugh when you want to cry or scream. As much as they drive me nuts I love them all and wouldnt trade them for the world. So Dominic makes his first communion in May so we pretty much live in church now. Dominic has class at 9am then we pck him up at 1015 then Connr goes at 1030 and I take Dominic, James, and Nathanial to church. Then by 12 pm we are off to start our day. I enjoy church ut I firml believe that every churc should have a nursery. We have a cry room but between your own kids and everyone elses it leaves you wondering why you are there because you have NO idea what the priest just said. We have only had to use the cry room once I refue to go right in and give my kids permission to talk nd play during chucrch and I am hoping that eventually the will catch on. I am the mom and I will persevere!!..lol This Sunday will be number 8 or nine..they say repetition is everything. I am trying toget connor and James into headstart wit james being a little early his speech hasnt really caught up. hes very hard to understand although tats probably most three year olds. I really wish we had more family for them to spend regular time with because they have definitley come to be solely reliable on me. You two youngest are definitley mommas boys. James taks it to an extreme though and screams when I leave a room without him. Nates picking it up slowly. He is pulling down my screen on my laptop and licking the computer as we speak. Well its getting close to the kids bedtime so I am going to try to get them to unwind...
